World No. 1 in T20 format, Mitchell Santner is all set to make his debut in the league for Chennai Super Kings. Bought by the CSK for just INR 50 lacs, the Kiwi bowler has to be one of the most economical buys for CSK. Santner made his debut for New Zealand when Daniel Vettori retired from his ranks and in only his first game, Santner impressed the selectors, not with the ball, but with the bat. Since his debut, Santner has been an impressive prospect although he’s had his share of ups and downs in world cricket. With the Kiwi all-rounder joining CSK, it’ll be interesting to see how MS Dhoni utilizes the services of the world no. 1 T20 bowler.
